Simavi launches Movement Building Grants: Empowering women’s leadership in the water justice movement

Simavi and the Water Justice Fund are proud to announce the launch of the Movement Building Grants – a new funding opportunity for organisations, networks, collectives and individuals to advance water, gender and climate justice in Nepal, Bangladesh and Kenya. 

The Movement Building Grants provide flexible grants for initiatives that advance water justice and strengthen women’s leadership.

Eligible applicants include:

  • Organisations, networks,collectives and individuals based in Kenya, Bangladesh and Nepal.
  • Proven track record of working on water justice, gender and climate change
  • Demonstrate clear strategies and collective approaches for water justice issues.

Applications are accepted in English.

We encourage all eligible organisations to apply and ask our partners and allies to help us spread the word!

Together, we can build stronger, more just water movements.
