HER Climate Stories. Three activists, one message: listen to women!

Story: Eefke van de Wouw, Sâmia Biruany and Sareen Malik. The Netherlands, Amazone and Kenya

Women's voices are not heard enough in the decision-making process to tackle the climate crisis. That is why Cinetree and Simavi present HER Climate Stories.

The climate crisis affects us all. But the perspectives and decisions to meet this challenge have for too long come from a fraction of the population. An important voice that is still not heard enough are women: their stories and voices are indispensable when we work on solutions together.

That is why film platform Cinetree and Simavi presented HER Climate Stories during the online HER Film Festival of 2022. In this series, we share the stories of three women, who each take action in their own way in the climate crisis. Within their communities in Kenya, Brazil and the Netherlands, but also beyond, they are committed to their shared mission.

You can now also watch their stories on the Simavi website!
