Support WaterAid with a large donation

As WaterAid Netherlands, we build on the strong foundation of Simavi, with more than a century of experience in water, sanitation and equal opportunities for women and girls. WaterAid works on sustainable solutions in Africa, Asia and South America.

Are you thinking about contributing to WaterAid's work through a one-time or structural large donation? Our relationship manager Fien de Ridder would be happy to help you!

What are the options?

There are several possibilities. Together with you, we look at which way of donating and which project suits you best. In a personal conversation we will listen to your wishes and motivation. We will also keep you regularly informed about the project, our work and interesting events.

The most common ways of giving are:

1. By setting up a periodic donation agreement for at least five years, you support WaterAid with a structural gift. We know we can count on your support in the coming years, and you receive tax benefits. Read more information here in Dutch.
2. With a one-time donation you allow us to spend your gift as effectively as possible. You can donate here directly.
3. As of €5,000 you can choose a specific project or objective for your donation. We will inform you regularly about the project you have chosen. Please contact us to arrange this.
4. With a named fund (Fonds op Naam) you establish your own fund within WaterAid. This can be done on your behalf or for example with your family, friends or colleagues, or in memory of a loved one. It can also be arranged through a disposition in your will. You choose the objective and destination of the fund yourself within the possibilities of WaterAid, and you are kept informed about the results. The minimum total amount of a named fund for WaterAid is €50,000. The payment can be made in instalments, spread over 5 years, or in one go.
5. By including WaterAid in your will, you pass on life. Because water means life. Read more information here in Dutch.
